Alpaca Farm (mini trip)
July 12th (Wednesday) 6:30 pm
The Bent Pine Alpaca farm is changing hands and we have been invited to come and photograph the alpacas, the barns, the outhouses and the chicken coop.
We will be there from 6:30 pm till 8—8:30 ish and tripods are completely optional. We will meet at the Art Center School and Galleries and car pool from there as parking is tight. If you need to drive separately, look up Bent Pine Alpaca Farm, Carlisle Pa.

New Kingston Fire House (mini trip)
July 19th (Wednesday) 6:30 PM
We will be photographing what is arguably one of the best fire houses in the area with lots of pumpers, ladder trucks, emergency vehicles all in a large neat air conditioned fire house. We will meet at the New Kingston Fire House in New Kingston (just off of the Carlisle Pike) from 6:30 pm till 8:00 ish. Plenty of parking in the large lot at the fire house.

July 27th (Thursday) 6:00 PM
Come join us for an evening of fun, and
photographing the lights, midway, exhibits
and excitement of amusement rides at the
Shippensburg Community Fair on
Thursday, July 27. There is also a tractor
pull starting at 7:00 that evening. Meet at
the Camp Hill Arby’s at 6:00 pm. Free
admission, parking is $ 5.00 per car.

Messiah College Adventure
August 8th (Tuesday) 6:00 pm
Our group will meet in the parking lot for the athletic fields--located just across the covered bridge.
Messiah College is located on 471 acres of land in Grantham, PA. We will photograph landscapes, a waterfall, bridges and buildings on the campus
Leaders will be conducting mini-workshops on landcape, outdoor portrait, and macro photography. You will want to bring an assortment of different focal length lenses and a tripod.

August 19th (Saturday) at 8:30 am
Annual Threshermen’s Reunion, Lancaster County which is the largest gathering of steam traction engines on the east coast. You will experience all types of steam and gas powered equipment in operation, also live demonstrations.
Gates opens at 7:00 with a $10.00 admission. We meet at 7:00am SHARP at the Camp Hill Shopping Mall, near Arby’s.

Williams Grove Steam Event (mini trip)
August 29th (Tuesday) 6:45 pm
This is a steam engine and tractor event with lots of old stuff in a fair environment. There will be a horse pull at 7:00 pm and we will meet at the Williams Grove concession stand at 6:45 pm. You are welcome to come earlier and capture the details of the old operating equipment. The details are here: www.wghsea.org
Eisenhower Farm Trip
September 16th (Saturday) 8:00 am
On Saturday September 16 the National Park Service will sponsor a World War 11 living history weekend at the Eisenhower Farm in Gettysburg. In addition to the farm there will be numerous photo opportunities of personnel and vehicles at this re creation of allied and German camps. There will also be a WW II themed wedding at 1 pm.
Meet at the Camp Hill Arby's at 8:00. Admission is $7.50.
